What is Beyond Digital Labs?
Beyond Digital Labs is an independent software studio that builds apps for Windows, Android and the web and sells them direct, without an app store in between. The catalogue covers graphics card tools, offline voice dictation, phone to desktop mirroring, permit tracking, accounting and business phone lines. The studio also builds custom software, automations and AI for small businesses.
Why does Beyond Digital Labs sell direct instead of through an app store?
Because a store controls the timetable, the identity and the terms. Two finished applications sat blocked in a major store, one of them because the store would not allow a change to the publisher name on an account we run ourselves. Selling direct means a fix reaches customers as soon as it passes our own checks, not when a reviewer gets to it.
How much does Beyond Digital Labs software cost?
Prices are not published yet, because the applications are still in development and nothing is open for download. Beyond Phone Sync and Beyond Permit Status will be one time purchases. Most of the others will be subscriptions, priced generously, with monthly or annual options and nothing taken back if you cancel.
Is Beyond Digital Labs software subscription or one time?
Both, depending on the application. Beyond Phone Sync and Beyond Permit Status are one time purchases you own outright. The rest are subscriptions, because they carry ongoing development, infrastructure and support cost. Which model applies is stated on each application page.
Can I download Beyond Digital Labs applications right now?
Not yet. Everything in the catalogue is still in development, so nothing is open to download or buy. The product pages describe what each application does today, including what it cannot do, and you can leave your email on the licensing page to hear from us the day the first one opens.
Does Beyond Digital Labs software collect my data?
Nothing about how you use the software is collected, ever. The one exception is a report when something breaks, which stays switched off until you turn it on, shows you what it would send, and can be switched off again at any time. Your documents, recordings, ledgers and transcripts stay on your machine.
Does the software work offline?
Yes. The work happens on your own machine, so an internet connection is something you use rather than something you need in order to start. Your licence is checked on your own computer too, so the software still opens if your internet is down, or if ours is.
What happens to my licence if Beyond Digital Labs disappears?
The software keeps working. Your licence is checked on your own machine, with nothing sent to us, so our continued existence is not a condition of your software opening. That is how it is built rather than a promise we are making.
How do I find out which program is using my GPU on Windows?
Task Manager shows how much of the card is in use, but it gives you a number rather than the name of the thing responsible, and it gives you no way to act on it. Beyond GPU Manager traces everything running on the card back to what started it, and lets you pause, resume or stop it from the same window.
Is there an offline dictation app for Windows that does not need a subscription per device?
Beyond Flow runs the whole thing on your own graphics card, so your audio never leaves the machine and nothing is counted or metered. It was built because the dictation tools we paid for charged a separate licence for each device, which meant paying three times over to talk to our own computers.
Can I control my Android phone from my Windows PC?
Yes. Beyond Phone Sync puts your Android screen on your Windows desktop and lets your mouse and keyboard drive the handset, so you can copy text off the phone, type into it with a full size keyboard, and capture its screen. You pair once over USB or Wi-Fi and it reconnects wirelessly afterwards.
How can contractors track building permit status automatically?
Beyond Permit Status checks your permits every few minutes across six South Florida building departments and tells you what changed since last time. Every check is written down and kept, so a missed notification is not something that can quietly happen to you.
Does Beyond Digital Labs build custom software for small businesses?
Yes. The studio builds custom applications, automations and integrations for small businesses, and the first conversation is free with no obligation. If a tool you can already buy solves your problem, we will name it rather than sell you a project you do not need.
How much does custom software cost for a small business?
It depends entirely on the problem, which is why the first conversation is free and produces a plain answer before any money is discussed. If the work is worth doing you get a scope, a price and a timeline before anything starts.
Are Beyond Digital Labs downloads safe?
Every download is checked for you before it can run. Windows confirms the file came from us, and the installer checks it again before it writes anything. We also publish a reference code for the exact file we built, so the claim can be checked rather than simply trusted. Nothing is open for download today, because the applications are still in development.
What operating systems does Beyond Digital Labs support?
Windows, Android and the web, depending on the application. Beyond Phone Sync has an Android app, Beyond CloudSIP runs on Windows, on Android and in the browser, and a Beyond Video Calls guest joins from any modern browser without installing anything. Each application’s page lists exactly what it runs on and what it needs.
