None of the applications reach you without this. It sits on the same roadmap because it is the same promise.
Opening the catalogue
The next thing. Turning the site from somewhere you read about the software into somewhere you buy and download it. Everything below is built or designed and waiting on this.
Accounts and licences
Designed. Your licence is checked on your own machine, you manage your own devices yourself, and a stolen key can be cancelled. The software has to open with no internet at all. That part is not negotiable.
Very large downloads
Designed. A download that picks up where it stopped, even at several gigabytes, and an update that only fetches the part that changed rather than the whole application again.
Update channels
Designed. A steady channel, an early one and a rough one, released in stages and reversible if something goes wrong. Your computer confirms an update is genuinely ours before it downloads a single byte.
