Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, because data we never hold cannot be leaked, subpoenaed or sold.

Our desktop applications

We collect nothing about how you use the software. Not what you click, not how long you use it, not what is in your files.
Error reports are the one exception, and they are opt in. If you turn them on, a crash sends us what failed and where. It never includes your documents, and you can turn it off again at any time.
Your documents, recordings, ledgers and transcripts stay on your machine.
Where an application needs to recognise your machine for licensing, it sends a scrambled one way code, never anything that identifies your hardware directly.

No third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
Counts of how many requests the site served, and nothing that follows you between sites.
If you give us an email address, it is used for that purpose and no other.
If you talk to B-Bot, the assistant on this site, what you type or say goes to our own assistant service to be answered, and a request you leave with it, contact details included, is saved and sent to the studio so a person can reply.
