Where this stands

Everything in the catalogue is still in development. You can read what each application does, what it needs, and what it cannot do yet. Nothing here is open to download or buy. Leave your email and you will hear from us the day that changes, once and about that only.

Why we built it

We built Beyond Books because we were tired of the bloat. The big accounting suites are packed with enterprise features a small business never opens, and then leave out something simple.

  • A bill that costs an arm and a leg for the fraction you actually use.
  • Another charge for every company you run.

So we built the part that matters, where you can find it. Pricing is not set yet, but it will be far more generous with your companies than anything out there.

What it does

The 40% of the accounting suite you actually use.

Estimate to paid, in one flow Send an estimate. Your client clicks Approve, the estimate turns into the invoice in front of them, and the pay buttons appear. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App.
Everything one click away Estimates, invoices and payments are where you expect them. No digging through menus to reach the page you use every day.
What the job actually made What a job actually earned once subcontractors and materials are counted. It is the number most small contractors never get to see.
Your bank, reviewed rather than guessed Bank activity arrives for review and matching, and card payouts are matched to the sales they came from, so the same income is never counted twice.
Books that hold up Nothing posted is ever overwritten. A correction sits beside the original, and every change made in Beyond Books is chained to the one before it, so altering the past shows.
