Beyond Permit Status

Watches your permits across six South Florida building departments and tells you the moment something moves. Every check is written down, so a missed notification is not something that can quietly happen to you.

Where this stands

Everything in the catalogue is still in development. You can read what each application does, what it needs, and what it cannot do yet. Nothing here is open to download or buy. Leave your email and you will hear from us the day that changes, once and about that only.

Why we built it

A friend who runs a permitting company asked us for this. The moment she described the problem we recognised it, because everybody in the trade has it.

  • You are supposed to be told when a permit changes.
  • The portals do offer email alerts.
  • The alerts are not dependable.
  • So people log in and check by hand, several times a day, across several cities.

We built what she asked for, then widened it so any contractor or permitting service could use it the same way.

What it does

Stop refreshing the permit portal.

Currently serving six building departments Miami Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Miami Gardens, Hialeah and Hallandale Beach. Turn on the ones you work in and filter the list by city. We add departments continuously and we take requests, so if you need one that is not on the list, ask.
It tells you what changed Not just the current status, but the difference since last time, which is the only part you actually needed to know.
Checked on a schedule, and logged Permits are rechecked every few minutes and every check is written down and kept. "We never got the email" cannot happen quietly.
One time purchase A small, focused tool at a small price. No subscription for something this narrow.
Verified
  • Version 1.3.2 checked end to end
  • All six departments checked live against their official portals
Known limit

Departments are added continuously. Cities on other portal systems, including Fort Lauderdale, Pompano, City of Miami and Miami-Dade County, are not covered yet. Requests are welcome and move up the queue.

We list these because you will find them anyway. A limitation you learn about after paying is a defect in how we sold it to you.
