Beyond Code
A coding assistant that lives in a Windows terminal, with model downloads built in. Find and fetch open models, run them on your own machine, or use a hosted one instead. All of it chosen in the app rather than in a settings file.

Installing
See Installing a Beyond application for what the installer does and where it puts things. Your computer checks the download for you, and that page also shows how to check it yourself if you would rather.

Find and fetch models in the app
Search the open model libraries and download what you want without leaving the terminal. No browser tab, no moving files around by hand.
Your own machine, or a hosted one
Point it at the model running on your own machine, or at a hosted one with a key. Switch between them without reinstalling anything.
It never starts servers behind your back
The only thing it talks to is the one you chose. It will not quietly start programs you did not ask for. That is a rule in the code, not a preference.
Known limits
- The model still runs as a separate program that the assistant connects to. Running it inside the assistant, which is the whole reason this exists, is not built yet.
- Development is paused while that design is reconsidered.

Beyond Code uses the standard Beyond licence: checked on your own machine, with your devices managed by you. See Licences and activation.
